Vehicle Detail
RUST FREE AZ CAR. This 1963 VW Baja is a great little car. I never had a Baja before but this is a smooth fun little car with some pretty good power. The 1600 DP motor runs great fires right up first time, trans is smooth, clutch is all good. Have a little leak up by the brake reservoir been cruzing it for two weeks and brakes are good I just haven't fixed (just discovered) this leak yet. Exterior: Really straight few dings in the trim but nothing major. Nice body and Paint car looks pretty sweet. Door seal and window seals are all nice. Tires are all good and have a lot of wear left on them, YOKO's on the rear. Interior: Beards seats in front stock in rear, seat do have some tears right on the edge of where the seam is (not to bad) I think that they could be fixed pretty easy. 6 point roll cage, all lights and gauges work fine. Windows could use new seals on the roll up part. Overall.. I bought this as an investment but really like this car alot ( as I said before never really drove one before more stable and responsive than I was thinking these cars were), The GAS MILAGE IS GREAT! The car is a classic and alot of people check it out, drives straight and smooth and its got a bit of a tough look to it, when you sink into those beard seats and looking out those little windows and sittin in that roll cage, it just feels cool to cruze, and because it is a pretty clean car. CLEAN TITLE, Notorized. Mileage on dash is 54000 but title states it was at 151000..car must have been gone through cause all the bushings, kin pins and supension feel tight..just a solid car and past owner stated it was alway reliable. This car will be for sale locally for higher than the reserve price. Seeing how I posted it I want the bidders to have a full auction as I wouldn't want something I was trying to buy to just be dropped. But in the case that it sells I do reserve the right to end the auction early On May-14-12 at 11:26:42 PDT, seller added the following information: Well just an FYI. The reserve is set at $3000 I wasn't going to say anything unless it got close and were there. It's set alittle low as what I believe some what comparable cars have been in the $4000-5000 range, but realize with the ebay thing you still gotta get the car to your house.
