Selling my 1979 Mercedes 240D. the Drivetrain is very solid and the Car starts reliably in the coldest weather, which is -10 F around here. I upgraded from the stock 36W glow plugs to Bosch 240W glow plugs, not to improve the starting, but because the old style burned out frequently. We bought this car in 2005 from a woman in Washington D.C. whom had driven it from California. It's given us 100k hassle free miles since. We're selling because we've just installed a CNG compressor and are driving Natural gas vehicles. This car could drive across the Country, easily. It has holes in the back seat floor and needs exhaust work.
