Up for sale is my 1998 volvo s70T5. I have owned this car since 2006. the car runs and can drive but it has engine knock that it recently developed. I suspect the knock was caused by a bad oil pump but can't say for sure.I do know that it had valve tapping (symptoms of low oil pressure) even with the oil level full, and shortly afterwards the engine began to knock. exterior condition is all right, nothing crazy but not too many dents either. there is one dent above the passenger side corner marker lens. the back bumper has many nicks in the paint, possibly into the bumper plastic caused by much parking in the city. this car is very nice from 15 feet away, but as you get closer, you will find imperfections here and there. Interior condition is very very good. ( ! ) way better than normal for a car this age. seats and interior carpet are still newish, and seats are very comfortable too. the car is a clean and comfortable ride. there is a small tear in the side part of the drivers seat in front of the seat controls. 4 power locks and windows work, and so does the sunroof. radio, cassette player and cd player all work. cruise control works too.(havent used ac since last summer, but it was working then) power seats work. heating works so does the ac. car performed well before the knocking began, and turbo was performing well too. 4 turbo wheels in very nice shape. corner lenses all good on all 4 corners of the car. headlight lenses good, glass good. I'm told the wheels alone could sell for $400. ( ! ) check engine light was on when we were last driving it, but I don't know for what. car needs a new engine and the check engine light would need to be addressed. please be understanding that this car has been on the road since 1998 and you may find an unexpected thing or two that I missed in the description. if you are looking for a car that will be showroom condition after you put the new motor in, this one is not for you. it has been looked after well so it's condition is ok, but it is not a showroom car.
