Tonight I'm selling this SUV for my next door neighbor for the past 14 years. He writes: As the original owner of our 2004 Yukon XL, it is time to say goodby. We have had many great memories between the trips to Florida,loading up our son's teammates to go out for pizza after their games and the convience to help our friends move things. It is now just my wife and I so we are buying an autombile that fits our lifestyle today. The kids always enjoyed watching movies as we traveled down to Florida. And of course being able to carry 8 passengers was always a plus for my son's friends. With towing capability and extra length of the Xl, it has come in quite handy for yard work as well as moving items such as furniture. I'll do my best to describe the history and all plusses and minuses but please, feel free to to ask questions or if you are local, schedule a time to come see and test drive. The Yukon has never been smoked in. This SUV starts, runs, idles, accelerates, shifts, 4 WD, brakes, and steers flawlessly. All lights, heat, AC, horn, cruise control, wipers (intermittant) & sprayer, front and rear defrosters, horn, cigarette lighter and accessory power plug, electric windows and mirrors, DVD player stereo/cd player work just like they should. The title is clear. Nice leather seats (heated). Rear tires are fair, front tires need to be replaced, has a good spare. No rust that I can see anywhere except there is a round, small soccer ball sized section around the rear hatch opener that may have some surface rust under the paint. NJ inspection good. It has been maintained on schedule It has a good Interstate battery. This is a great SUV all the way around! Drives smoothly at any/all speeds and has has tons of power/spunk. The car does not burn oil. There is a nick in the windshield the size of a pea or less and there are some scratches on the paint and a few small dings here and there (nothing significant). Oil changed this week! Maintenance records and all the books/manuals that came with the car when new. I don't think you will be dissappointed. Given the car is 8 years old years old and has 149,000 miles, this car is being sold as is/where is with no implied warranty. I hope you understand. Happy Bidding!
