Vehicle Detail
My classic 1970 Bronco is up for sale. I'll try and cover everything I know about this truck. I love the 66-77 style Bronco's. The first vehicle I owned was a 68, I've had a few over the years, but have been out of them since I sold my last one in 94. I started getting the fever about two years ago, and I bought this one in South Carolina. I wanted to restore it and make it my daily driver, but I'm moving on to something else now. Here's what I've done to this one since I bought it about a year ago. Cut out all rotten flooring and replaced it, as well as filling any little holes with metal, not some filler. Then it was covered with Rapta-Liner. New stereo, with marine speakers in the back in case they get wet. Custom wooden side panels in the rear, and undercoated to match the floor boards. All new seat covers to have a fresh new interior, as well as new door pulls on each side. New alternator. Vehicle has a 302 that runs like a sewing machine, I think it's the original engine. Smokes a little at start up, but runs smooth. New clutch, and pressure plate, replaced all bad joints in both drive shafts. I just had it painted, but there are a couple of dents that didn't get pulled out in the tailgate, like behind the tire carrier. It has a black hard top that is in rough shape and needs to be restored. I'm also including a soft top header, and a white bikini top, that is in ok shape, but you'll need to install a roll bar to use that top. This truck is not flawless by any means, but it's a nice start, and turns a lot of heads. Things I know that need to be done, fuel sending unit, as the gauge doesn't work, everything else does, blinkers, lights, fan, ect. I've never used the auxiliary tank, so it would need to be flushed out and cleaned before using it. It has 33x12.50 15's on it, but they need to be replaced. You'll see in the picutures, that both inner fenders under the hood towards the firewall need to be replaced.(they all rust out there). My reserve is set low for what I see on here, so good luck with bidding. Forgot to mention that previous owner lifted the truck, looks like two to three inch lift. I also had new exhaust installed with shorty glass packs.
