This is a super clean Volvo 240 DL, it is a one owner vehicle and the owner must have loved this car because it has been very well maintained. Mechanically this car is in great shape, engine fires right up runs smooth and quiet. Transmission shifts perfectly and the car rides very well, drives straight and the suspension feels great. There has been some recent maintenance work done, the timing belt is new, also the AC system has recently been repaired with a new compressor, dryer and hoses. AC works good, there are no known mechanical issues. I would not be afraid to drive anywhere in this vehicle in its current condition, we have put about 100 miles on it so far and it is a solid vehicle. The body is in great shape for the year, the paint is in great shape but there are a lot of very light scratches on the hood and trunk as if a cat enjoyed sitting on the hood/trunk areas. These scratches look like they would buff out and I tried to get them in the pictures but I don't think I was able to. There are also some paint chips on the front driver's side fender. The driver's side door has some very heavy deep scratches in it as if it scraped up against something, no actual damage to the door skin just to the paint. The passenger side rear door does have a dent in it, looks like someone opened it into something. Otherwise the body is in great shape, paint appears to be original and still has a great shine to it. There is no rust, take a look at the pictures of the underbody, it is in perfect shape. Interior is in very good shape, great color on all the panels and material, no damage to dashboard. The driver's seat has a tear in the bolster as can be seen in the pictures. Anyone who is good at stitching could probably repair that quite easily. Otherwise the interior is in great shape, there is a broken piece of plastic by the driver's side seat belt where it bolts onto the b-pillar but it is not in a very noticeable area. The seat cushions are in good shape, carpet is in excellent condition. The radio is factory original but does not work, it appears that it is not getting powered up even though the fuses are good. The seat heaters also do not work, they are getting power so I suppose the elements in the seats are bad. Tires are good useable, probably 50% left.
