Up for auction is a 2001 Honda Insight. This car does not run. I purchased it off the original owner in its present condition. They stated it shut off on them while they were driving it. They had it towed to a Honda dealer who stated it was ran low on oil and needed a new engine. At that time they declined repairs and took it home. I bought it off them approx a year later with intentions of fixing it. I do not currently have the time or space to take it on right now so instead of it collecting dust I am going to sell it. The title is free and clear and ready for the new owner. I have never looked into what exactly failed or if it even needs a new engine. The battery is dead but with a jumpbox it will turn over. It sounds to me that it is spinning a little fast?? The owner said before it broke down they had never had any problems out of it. I asked them about the IMA battery and they said it worked fine with no problems. Overall it is in good condition for its age and mileage. There are some dings and scratches which should be expected of a car this age. The drivers seat shows a little wear as shown in the picture. Also the passenger front rocker panel has some minor paint damage. There are no odors inside and it appears to have been a non-smoking car. The car is currently located in Port Clinton, OH. This does not run and will need to be towed. I will assist with shipping but the winning bidder is responsible for all costs and arrangements. I would be willing to deliver this personally for $1.25 per mile one way. The car would have to be paid for in full before I will deliver it. I do require a $200 deposit thru paypal within 24 hours of the auctions end. The remaining balance is due within 7 days of the auctions end by either cash in person or bank wire transfer. I do not accept checks of any kind. I also do not accept paypal for remaining balance due to the fees incurred thru them. Any questions please feel free to ask.
