Vehicle Detail
1978 Ford F-150 4x4 with many extras! -Engine: 300 CID Straight 6-Transmission: 4 Speed Manual-4x4 with lockout hubs-2'' Hitch receiver on the truck Please read the following thoroughly: Ok, here's the entire scoop on this truck. The body of this truck is quite banged up and rusted. I bought this truck with the intention of totally renovating it with a wooden flatbed. When I originally bought it it ran great and I drove it as is for about a year. The engine that is currently in the truck began running on only 5 cylinders, so I parked it. As it is now, it will not start. The tires on this truck will hold air for a couple of days, but I definitely wouldn't consider them road worthy. I later came across another 1978 F-150 that was 2 wheel drive, also with a 300 Straight 6 and a tighter manual transmission with better condition body parts but the frame was bent. I removed the engine, tranny, front fenders, hood, doors, cab and various other body parts before scrapping the rest with intention of using all these parts on the 4x4 rebuild. Over time, my circumstances have changed and I don't have time to complete this rebuild. As I said before, the engine and tranny I have to put in this truck came out of a 4x2, so the main transmission shaft that is currently in the truck would need to be pulled out and swapped into the other. When this engine was pulled, it ran great and has been stored inside ever since. I have 2 clear titles. One for the truck on wheels and one that the parts, engine and tranny came off of. I know I could make more money off of all of this if I parted it all out separately, but I would rather everything go to one person in hopes that they would complete this. This would make an excellent project to totally remodel or just do the bare minimum for a great farm or wood hauling truck. Winning bidder to take any or all of the parts. Please ask any and all questions before bidding. Additional pictures can be taken and sent to you, just provide me with your email and the exact picture you would like and I will respond promptly. Thanks for looking.
