Up for auction is a nice 65 mustang.This car has been in storage since 1998.It will need to be restored.Car came from tennessee in the late 80's.I put a new set of points in it and changed the oil and the gas and it fired right up.It came factory with a 289.Here are the casting numbers off the block C5AE-6015E with a date code of 4L5.Engine runs good no knocking noises.It blows a little blue smoke when cold. Then again it is 47 years old. Manual brakes.Power Steering.Muffler has a hole in it.It still has the original red interior and is in very nice shape.I have a NOS front bumper that will go with the car.And NOS front kick panels for the interior the original ones are cracked.The body has some rust issues.Frame rails front and rear are rock solid but the front floor pans will need repair.Under the hood is all solid.Pass rear quarter panel has some bubbling.Driver side is very nice.Doors are nice pass side has some bubbles in it.Front valance panel and driver fender will need to be replaced.There area couple of dents in the roof.Tires hold air but are dry rotted.New York State does not issue titles for old cars this car will sold with a bill of sale.Make sure that you check with your state DMV about registering this car.I have all the paperwork to register in NY.Car is for sale locally so reserve the right to end the auction at any time.
