F-150 SuperCrew A new workhorse XL SuperCrew package combines a crew cab with the XL trim and includes power side mirrors, an overhead console and a 40/20/40-split front seat. SuperCrew versions of the F-150 full-size pickup have four conventional, front-hinged doors like those on passenger cars. Rear occupants sit on a three-place bench seat. Exterior: The Exterior of this Ford Super Crew / Crew Cab Pickup Looks Fantastic! The outside color is described as Oxford White Clearcoat and looks as elegant as it sounds. This classic white color looks fantactic with an overall exterior that is in far above average condition for what I would expect. There are no significant issues with the outside of this Truck, that is certainly rare for a pick up. This truck has obviously not been used for anything other than simple daily driving. The outside of this truck looks just great. The paint is shiny and glossy. We do not see any indications of paint or body work and the carfax is clean and clear, too. You will find lots of exterior features that add to the overall appeal of this truck. First and most obvious is that this truck is a Super Crew / Crew Cab. The four large doors add an appeal of passenger car appeal. Not to be mistaken for smaller, quad cab styling, the Super Crew offers Front and Rear Doors that are conventional with front hinges. The doors and cab are large but since they combine with a 5.5 foot bed, the truck looks very proportional and not bulky. There is an Aftermarket Bed Extender. This three bar styled bed extender is very practical and easy to use. The extend will easily flip in or out of the bed and is perfect for hauling longer items. Since this Super Crew only came with the 5.5’ bed, this extender returns extra hauling capacity. This extender will also remove very quickly and easily. As a short woman, even I have found this to be easy to do. Two slot style clips hold the extender on each side. To remove just slide each side up. To install, just slide each side in. This Ford F 150 comes with an aftermarket, rugged Bed Liner, too. Admitedly, my detailer forget to wash out the bed liner before I took the pictures. The good news is that you can see how this truck has actually been used and kept. The bad news is that it could look better in the pictures. This Ford Super Crew, Short Bed combination gives the best of interior cab space and seating for 6+ passengers, hauling space, without being too long and difficult to drive. The short bed keeps this truck easier to drive, park and back up. This SLT pick up is riding on a set of 17" Factory Wheels for Sharp Curb Appeal. It has a set of tires that just passed VA State Safety inspection. This size tires looks good on this truck, fit, and keep your fuel economy better than a huge oversized tire. The alloy wheels are also in great shape and show just a little normal wear, but nothing noteworthy. There is a front Black Bumper with a Matching Black Grill. The bumpers have a light texture that really adds to the rugged appeal of this truck without being too rough looking. This combination of colors and texture really looks sharp! It is all glossy and shiny! There is a front license plate bracket, too. You will find this Pick Up to be in Very Good Condition and Looks Great! The carfax on this Ford is clean and clear and there are no indications of paint or body work. You may find a tiny door ding but this truck looks so much better than most pick ups, especially one that is a couple years old. If you have realistic expectations you will love this truck as much as me. If you want a brand new truck, then I suggest going to a new car dealer. You may notice a spare, spare tire in the back of this truck. In clearing out the fleet of company trucks, apparently there was an extra spare tire. Since I am friendly with the owners, they tossed it in the bed for me so I am leaving it there for you : ) Overall, the Exterior of this Pick Up Truck is Very Good. You will find a usual door ding and maybe a tiny scuff/scratch. Upon a close inspection, I found one door ding on the passenger side, a few small scratches on the front bumper and a little fading on the passenger side F -150 decal that is in black. But overall, none of these would I call significant or unusual. Interior: The Interior of this truck is also in Very Good Condition. The interior of this Ford Features Gray Sport Cloth Interior that is called Medium Flint. This High End Upholstery is a very soft yet sturdy cloth. The primary color is gray. This color not only looks good but is great for hiding any little stains or imperfections that may occur. The medium gray color is a great year round option. No hot seats in the summer and no cold seats in the winter, gray is a perfect neutral option. The carpets and floor mats are a matching gray color and in very good condition, too. A little usual wear, but nothing noticeable. The same coordinating fabric is on the fold down the armrest and is very comfortable. This particular fabric is a very nice combination of being durable yet still soft and comfortable. Sometimes I have seen pick up trucks that are so durible that the fabric is itchy and/or uncomfortable. Both front doors also feature large storage cubbies great for extra stuff. The pockets are divided into two sections and even features a large cup holder, perfect for that Big Gulp. This Pick Up Truck Features Front and Rear Bench Seats for comfortable seating for 6, or more passengers. I say 6 or more because there are only six seat belts but more than 6 people could easily fit in this truck. The front is a 40/20/40 split bench so you can adjust the driver and passenger separately. The center of the front bench features a huge center armrest. The Front Bench Seat is sectioned into two captain chair sides with multi point adjustments including recline for both front riders. There are 2 passenger side entry handles, dual flip down sun visors and a passenger side vanity mirror. The rear seat is another split bench that seats 3 passengers, too. There is a surprising amount of room for rear seat riding, and it is more comfortable that I expected. There is plenty, actually a lot, of rear passenger leg room. The rear bench will flip up for added cargo space in the rear cab area. There is a lever on both the driver and passenger side that with one hand you can easily flip the bottom of the seat up. This will lock itself in place in the upward position. Again, as a petite woman, the ease of moving these seats around is very important and this Ford delivers, I can move the seats around with ease and without worry of breaking a finger nail! Yes, I said it, I don’t have to worry about breaking a finger nail! Wow! The Luxury inside of this Ford continues with the Power Options! There are Fully Power Windows and Door Locks. There is even a remote key fob to lock and unlock the doors from a distance, We have 2 Full Sets of Keys with this truck. The Automatic Transmission is operated from a gear shifter on the steering column. There is a huge glove box with the owner’s manual. The front console is loaded with more storage! There is a retractable dual cup holder with adjustable sizes. You can fit anything from a small soda can up to a large bottle! There is also an ac power source on the front dash great for charging cell phones! There is also a change holder on the front dash, perfect for drive thrus and tolls. This Ford has an upgraded radio system with in Dash CD - MP3 compatible and AM FM Radio. The inside of this Truck Still smells good with no funny or obnoxious odors anywhere in this truck. I am allergic to cigarette smoke and even though I know it was smoked in before, it still smells fine and does not bother me. The inside of this Truck is in overall Very Good Condition, and much better than I would expect for a truck. There are a few little specks on the front seat passenger side. I notice that they come off if I use my finger nail but have not spent enough time on it to get them all off. Otherwise, I do not see any issues inside worth noting. Driving Impressions: I have driven this 2008 Ford Super Crew Truck a bunch of times. Yep, with dozens of cars to choose from, driving this Truck is just Perfect! Frankly, I feel cool riding around in this Truck. As a petite woman, I get a commanding feel of the road and never get pushed around by other cars. Comfortable in the rain or snow, Practical when hauling around friends or cargo, I just love this Truck! Need some mulch, toss it in the back, Need to tow a U-Haul behind just hook it up, wanna cruise down the boardwalk just go for it, or wanna tailgate for some fun just drop down tailgate and enjoy! I have driven this Truck around town, on the highway, and it performs Very Well! The brakes are solid with no pulsating, the alignment is straight and true. The transmission shifts smoothly and the engine feels strong. We have been very pleasantly surprised at how clean and fun to drive this Truck has been! We have tested the power features and have found everything to be working just great! The AC Blows Ice Cold, the CD Player Works, All the Power Windows and Door Locks Work, this Ford is Just Great! I would absolutely recommend this Super Crew for any friend or family member. The VA State Safety Inspection is valid until 02-2013. Under the Hood: This Ford F-150 XL Super Crew has a V-8 4.6 Liter 248 Horse Power Engine. This engine never wants for power and won't let you down. This is a 281 cubic inch engine that produces 248 Horsepower at 4,750 rpm and 294 lbs-ft at 4,000 rpm. This is a SOHC single overhead cam engine. But even with this more than adequate V8 you still get surprisingly good gas mileage, great for a full size pick up. The EPA estimates 14-19 miles per gallon and I found that on the highway it was getting about 23-24 miles per gallon. This teams with a automatic transmission, featuring OD Off for hauling/towing. Factory Towing Package lets you take what you want with you when you go! CARFAX: The Carfax on This 2008 Ford F-150 Super Crew is Clean and Clear. It shows this to be a 3 owner Truck with no negative issues. This is a 1 Owner, Corporate owned truck. While I do not see any service indicators on this truck, I do have all confidence that the maintenance was kept up and paid for with no expense spared by the company. The CarFax is so good it gives this truck a +$260 positive value. There are No Flood, No Accidents, No Salvage, No Issues, No Problems, and No Recalls.
