1987 Buick Grand National power windows power brakes air conditioning cruise control rear window defroster power seat. windows professionally tinted. Nice wheels, new tires, new OEM front seat covers, mint rear seat, new headliner, billet buick shift handle. The dash panel has a couple of cracks and the dash pad has one. Carpet is very nice, as are door panels. steering wheel shows some wear, but its not too bad. Console is solid, Gauge panel is very nice and it has the 145mph speedometer. I am missing 2 door pull screw covers (they are about $8.00 each available on ebay) Mechanic owned. Well maintained. drives straight, corners well, drives exceptional stable and responsive-like a new car. Car is very quiet at highway speeds, no rattles or other funny business, brakes nice and evenly. Accelerates pretty well, also. The car does not have the lower under-bumper spoiler, it was off when I got it, and I like the way it looks without it. Everything on the car works perfectly with a couple of exceptions: the air conditioner needs a charge (I charged it 4 years ago, but it is getting soft) the dash lights do work, but blows a fuse-due to some loose ground wire. I have injured my back and I am unable to roll upside down underneath the dash and fix this small issue. Car is very solid, I am the third owner. The original owner put 40,000 miles on it, the second owner was an older gentleman who kept it in his garage and never drove it. I purchased it from him. Car is from Oklahoma, and the underside is very clean. I have always garaged it here in Kansas, and only drive it when it is nice weather outside. Body is very straight. front and rear bumper fillers are perfect. all center caps are perfect. emblems are all new. The paint is okay, it would really look nice if it were buffed out. As it sits, there are a couple of chips here and there, some touch up paint, but most annoyingly is the uneven areas where the clear coat has some hazing in it. As you can see in the photos, it does have a perfect mirror finish in certain spots. Black doesn't hide imperfections, that is sure. The paint is more than nice and I would classify it as driver quality. The car gets constant compliments as it sits, but I am a perfectionist and I have several older classic cars which I take to car shows, so I am used to judging and all that. The car showed 43510 miles when I had it inspected 4 years ago. It now has 55027. when I ran a carfax report, the report claims that the second owner titled the car in oklahoma with 60,000 miles on it. Since the odometer only read 43510 when I bought it, I inquired about the discrepancy. The second owner informed me that when he titled the car, there was no inspection necessary because it was an inner-state title transfer, and that he just told the DMV clerk his own "mileage guesstimate" ....This error can be rectified with a letter from the original owner, but the discrepancy never bothered me that much, so I never pursued it. It is obvious that the car is a low mileage car, it shows no signs of high mileage whatsoever. The car has never been in an accident. The trunk is solid, but could use a nice cleaning.
