Here we have an original 1966 ford F250 good humor ice cream truck for your restoration pleasure. truck is complete including the refrigeration unit. as seen in the pictures it needs a complete restoration. the front fenders, grill and hood are in rough shape and need replacing. the rear fenders have some rust and dents.The roof of the truck where the hatch comes down looks to be fiberglass and has some cracks. the actual refrigerated body is in nice shape. the truck does run and move but is not road worthy, was last on the road in the early 90s has a straight six with an automatic trans. The original bell above the windshield is still intact as well as the folding stop sign on the side that works well.I was told by the previous owner that the refrigeration unit worked when parked but i would say it would need to be completely serviced. The underside of this truck looks to be in ok shape, no major rust issues, just surface rust. Overall this truck is very restorable, alot of the parts it would need are standard 66 ford and that stuff is all available either used or aftermarket. Truck does need a full mechanical and cosmetic restoration so please do not bid if you are not looking for a project.
