Hello,you are looking at a 1959 Mercedes Benz 220S Ponton with Air Condition ,this car has been restore in 2001 and after that was parked ,i got the car few months ago and i got it in running condition,i have done a tune up and also 2 rebuild carbirators and got it in running condition,this car is a very nice example of the Pontons and they are going up in value every day.this is not a show car but very nice classic car .what it needs is break job ,i have asked my mechanic and he gave me a $600.00 estimate to fix the breaks,at this time you can drive the car around the block but you must fix the breaks,as i mentioned ,i have changed the carborators with 2 rebuild one but it has not been adjasted ,so it needs to be adjasted,inside of the car looks great,all the wood has been done and looks great,all the interior looks great as well ,as you see in the picture,i couldn't find any rust anywhere but this is a 54 years old classic car ,remember this please,,,The Air Condition is there but i don't think it works,it probably need to be service,the paint is okay with some blemished as you see in the pictures,under the hood is super nice ,it looks like it has been restored .overal this is a very nice car and it wont take much to be a show car,a paint job and few little minor things will be a show car.please come and see the car in person and don't assume anything ,everyone has diffent opinion about cars so ask any questions before bidding,i am selling the car with no reserve auction and i will need a $500.00 none refundale deposit after the auction ends and the rest in 7 days after auction ends,i can help with transportation,i just turned in the paper work to DMV and paid for one year registration in California,so i will have the title in few weeks.please look at the pictures and ask any questions you might have,thank you all.
