I am selling a loaded 2004 Porsche Turbo with 47,000 miles on it. It has navitgation and all options including adjustable suspension, sunroof. All manuals included as well. This is a salvage titled truck which was a claim from the Hurricane Katrina incident. The truck was sitting on a porsche dealer lot in Texas when the hurricane hit and was deemed a flood title from brand new. The truck has ran and operated fine for the entire life of it, running up 47,000 miles with no issues what so ever, until recently the transmission started to bang between 4&5 gear when accelerating hard. It did this every now and then for the last few thousand miles, but recently a bit more often, especially when cold. I took it off the road after I got a quote of $2,400 from the porsche deal to replace the "valve body" along with the tansmission service. The part itself is about $1,300 and the rest is fluid and labor. This apparently is a common issues in 2004 &2005 Cayenne models. The truck isn't registered now, and I don't want the headache of doing so just to try to get it to a dealer, so I just want to sell it the way it is. Feel free to come by and check it out, you can drive it away just the trans will need some attention very soon. There are posts on forums all over the internet describing the trans issues apparently this is a common problem for 04 &05 models. Some guys seemed to fix theirs themselves from $200-1400, I am just no savy enough to mess around with it, and where I live in the country, there are only dealers within a reasonable distance, so I am just looking to get rid of it. Exterior is 9/10 Interior 7.5/10 (could use a good detail to bring it up to a 8.5/10) Engine & Computer 9.5/10, no issues motor runs great, no computer or electrical issues of any sort.
