The 1971 to 1973 Mustang models were designed under the supervision of Ford's new product design manager, “Bunkie” Knudsen, originally of General Motors. There were only 27,675 Mach 1’s built in 1972.
We acquired this car in 2007. The Marti report shows that it is a true Mach 1.
The interior is the original Green Ruffino/Corintian vinyl bucket seats. The exterior was repainted black which has lost some shine but can be easily returned to it’s original Medium Lime Green metallic color, it’s still lime green under the hood!
It has a console, power steering, power front disc brakes, tinted glass and the instrument group.
The prior owner rebuilt the transmission and installed Blackjack headers.
The arm rest is worn, the driver’s seat is worn, the dash is cracked and the rear seat belts are missing.
The paint is blistered on the hood and scoop. Otherwise the body is nice without dings or dents.
The car runs and drives.
