1970-AMC-Javelin SST-1-Owner Project. 360 2V engine. Automatic, power steering, brakes, factory air. Blue/White vinyl Top. Hasn't been on the road since late 80's. It was running when parked and was cranked ever so often, but has not been cranked in several years. I pulled plugs and filled holes with marvel mystery oil. Engine will not turn. I could not get a grip on the flywheel because of those darn headers. So, I am leaving it up to buyer. I feel like it will free up, but who knows. No Guarantees. This car has remained with the same family from 1970 until now. They always had plans for it but never found the time. Interior was removed and stored in attic to keep from weathering. Seats need recovering, but the back panels are still in good shape. It was an automatic on column car, but console and shifter was installed back in the day. Car was always under carport or cover while sitting up. I believe it has been repainted once and is fading and chipping. No major dents or rust. Floors look good, frame rails great shape. Top is in good condition for vinyl top. Did find a few small rust clumps, nothing serious, when vinyl top was removed. So if you are a perfectionist Don't bid. Most all parts are there as shown in pics. I know grille, and rocker panel moldings were not found. Please don't assume anything ask, call 601-473-9278, to avoid any misunderstandings . Life's to short for that. I will put all loose parts back in plastic bags and tubs for safe shipping. Dash was stored in house to avoid damage from moisture and rats and so on. I will have clear Mississippi Title at the time of the sale and new antique tag never installed. In my opinion this old car is most definitely worth restoring , or pro street rod.I'm not trying to sell a rust free car, but it's pretty solid for age, but does have some rust. If you are picky picky picky and ticky and can't be pleased, This car is not for you. So please don't bid. I am not trying to be hard on Picky People, But if you are one of those people you should find a nicer car than this hooptie. This is an old car and I have no way of knowing how many miles for sure, I do not know if it has rolled over more than once or not. It is over a hundred thousand on the odometer and that is all I know. eBay does not allow you to state over a hundred in the space provided and did not realize this would be an issue since I put in the standard answer sellers use when posting an older vehicle. Sorry for any confusion. And this is the only reason this ad has been revised. It would not let me change what I already had in the mileage box.
