I am selling my 1992 Geo Storm GSi because it needs some engine work and frankly I no longer need it. This had been my daily driver until mid-March, when the head gasket blew and the engine then overheated. It was running like a Swiss watch right up to the moment it burst the upper radiator hose from steam pressure. I removed the head and had it machined flat, then I reinstalled it with a new Fel-Pro head gasket. It now has the following compression numbers: Cyl 1 = 120 Cyl 2 = 85 Cyl 3 = 105 Cyl 4 = 158 The engine will not run in this condition. These measurements were taken wet. I am confident that it will need the cylinders honed and new rings installed, and most likely the valves will need lapped as well. Pistons are not damaged, but the block should be decked while it's at the machine shop. Or just install a new long block and re-use the intake and exhaust. I rebuilt the throttle body, it works great. The body is fantastic, with only one small area of rust over the right rear wheel(shown in the pictures). Was originally dark blue but was repainted before I bought it; I think it's still a correct Geo Storm color? It had been an awesome little car, getting a dependable 30mpg. Has brand new tires with less than 3000 miles on them. I installed a JVC KD-G210 CD player and four new speakers. All electrics and lights work correctly, and it has a fairly new battery. I will also include a set of refurbished fuel injectors, new Fel-Pro gaskets for most of the top of the engine, lots of other spare parts, and a big factory repair manual covering everything you can do on these cars. The title is clear and in my name, there will be no issues getting it signed over. This car must be picked up at my home in Hope Mills NC if you buy it. I could fix it myself but like I said, I really no longer need a little economy car so there's no reason for me to bother with it any more than I already have. I will not take less than $750 for this car and all the extras that go with it. Feel free to email me with any questions.
