Vehicle Detail
2006 Suzuki Eiger 400 ATV Auto, Winch, ITP Mud Lite XTR Tires The engine starts instantly, doesn’t smoke, doesn’t make any bad sounds, and has plenty of power. Auto CVT trans with newer belt + nice spare older belt. 4x4 & 2wd option via switch 1800 miles Newer 25" ITP Mud Lite XTR tires 2000 pound winch Good brakes Good plastic Racks have dings but are straight & solid Lights work Nice handlebars---doesn't look like it's ever been rolled. Heated handgrips 12V power port I’ve had several quads—a couple Honda’s, an Arctic Cat, a different Suzuki, and still have a newer Yamaha Grizzly 700. I assure the buyer of this 2006 Suzuki Eiger 4x4 quad that it starts, runs, rides, stops as it should. Based on my experience with previous quads, this Suzuki rides nicer than the ’03 Honda Foreman 450 I had, and it observes to have similar power. The brakes on the Suzuki are much better than the Honda. I like my Grizzly, but it feels tippy compared to the Eiger. The Eiger’s low center of gravity is a real asset on hills and off camber terrain. I’d feel much more comfortable allowing an inexperienced rider (IE: wife, teenager, or any newer rider) to ride this than a big bore top heavy quad. If I had a huge mud hole to get through, or was driving through a creek with large rocks, I’d take the Grizzly due to its ground clearance. However, if I had to climb a nasty steep hill, I’d take this Suzuki due to its stability. Pictures: All pictures were taken on 4-1-2012.
