Recently repainted with Dupont ultablack base coat, clear coat. All fenders and most chrome removed and all paint removed, repainted with epoxy primer. All fasteners replaced with stainless steel. Car drives wonderfully, never overheats nor uses oil. Original leather seats are extremely comfortable and driving it is a pleasure. Shifting is perfect and brakes are great. Emergency brakes is evcellent. Solid lifters getting ready for adjustment. Engine was rebuilt by Mercedes at some recent time by previous owner (tag on block). There are some imperfections in the paint now however. Becker Europa radio still works. Divorce prompts sale. The following is a list of recently replaced or repaired items: 1. Stailess steel exhaust 2. Gas tank cleaned and coated with Eastwood tank epoxy 3. New differential boot 4. New wheel cylinders . 5. New upholstery on all doors including arm rests 6. New spark plugs and wires and points 7. New right hand side view mirror 8. Rechromed grill 9. Rechromed bumpers 10. All new hoses and belts 11. New distributor cap 12. Mostly new wiring 13. All new weather seals on doors and windows 14. New beading on fenders 15. Auxillary electric fuel pump for instant starts after sitting 16. New water pump 17. All new seatbelts, retractable in front 18. New parking brake cable assembly 19. New, period correct, Lucas fog lights Imperfections: 1. Heater fans not connected 2. Vacuum brake booster disabled 3. Ignition switch is intermittent. Bypass switch wired in until new ignition switch can be located so driveability not affected. Easy to replace switch. 4. Right bumper overrider is dented and pitted. 5. Rear window rubber is torn This is an accurate description of this car. Sold as is.
