I bought this car with the intentions of building a Thunderbolt clone, but with my limited time to do so I've decided to sell it. The car is very solid with only minimal rust issues, minor rust in the floors, most of it can be handled with patch panels, the trunk floor is pretty solid and the trunk gutter has some through holes of rust that need patching. The quarters have been slightly modified at the front edge for bigger tires. The rearend is an 8" Ford and looks to be factory. This was an automatic car, the body is actually not bad, it will need a full restoration, but needs no major body work or rust on the exterior of the car. The engine compartment has had the shock towers cut out for headers or something, pretty crude. The stainless trim is in fair condition, most of it can be straightened and polished, some pieces will need to be replaced, the grill and trunk trim are fair to poor and will need some restoration or replacing. It has bucket seats, not sure if theyre original or not, back seat is intact. This car is in need of a full restoration, please ask questions before bidding or inspect the pictures, the price is right, no reserve and anything over 500.00 buys it. Buyer handles shipping or trailering of it. I have a clear Texas title in hand, it was originally a Louisianna car and it's been in the area it's entire life. I also have new side glass that came with the car, it's new in the paper and have the original back glass, no windshield.
