Great opportunity to own this rare 1991 Saab Special Edition Turbo Convertible in Monte Carlo Yellow. 1 of 300 imported into the U.S. (made in Nystad, Finland) and only released to Saab dealers. 154,000 miles, SPG Body Kit, Automatic Transmission, New Black Top, Charcoal Grey Leather Interior. Car is currently being used as a daily driver that runs well, is a blast to drive and turns heads left and right. Of course, there are your typical Saabstories that accompany this vehicle...leaking/burning oil, trans occasionally slips when shifting into reverse, right cv joint boot is leaking, fuel gauge gets stuck at 1/4 tank, drivers side window needs a little nudge to go up all the way, radio is not working, a/c blower is working but does not blow cold (believe it to be a recharge issue and not a compressor issue). Body and paint are in good shape with exception of the passenger side front fender which has rust and a rather amateurish bondo/touch up job (see pics). There is some bubbling rust under the hood near the passenger side and what is beginning to look like creeping rust on the very bottom of the driver's side interior door panel. Leather interior is in good shape with only a minor tear near the driver's side entry where the seat lever is. Dash has typical small cracks near the speakers and accessory tray. Original boot cover is included. These "bumblebees" are getting harder to find and what you have here is a cosmetically and mechanically sound example that just needs a little TLC to regain it's true representation as the holy grail of Saab convertibles.
