1989 Mazda RX7 Convertible Car is in very good condition. It has had two minor fender benders $540 total repair costs for both, I have reciepts. It also has a minor scrape on the lower front fender (from a high parking curb) And lastly it has a small dent just above the lisence plate (rear) I mentioned all of the faults it has, other than it being a 23 yr old car, and it does show some wear. It is all original with no modifications. It has 2 new Bridgestone Potenza front tires and 2 very good condition Bridgestone Potenza rear tires.This is the second set that I bought since purchasing it with 25k miles on it in November of 2009. The interior shows some wear, mainly on the drivers seat.It also has a couple of trim pieces that came loose (I still have them).It comes from a smoke free enviroment , I don't smoke and when I got the car it had that "Like New" smell. I am selling this car because I can no longer afford the tickets that I have got since I bought it , (It is a real blast to drive it). I have driven it from Florida to California twice in the past 2 years , it is a very convertable cruising car. The tires I installed on it are quiet, smooth riding tires. This car will get as high as 25 MPG Highway , and around 15-17 city MPG , (Depending on how you drive it !!) It is very,very quick 0 to 60 This is definitely worth noting. The car came from a famous Boston Ma. DJ & Program director nickenamed Oedipus. The state of Massachusets had a very strict inspection policy. If you look up the VIN # , you will see what I mean. The state of Florida does not have any car inspection policies. I drove the car 50k miles since I bought it , because I just loved driving it !! Thank you, Ken On Apr-03-12 at 09:06:04 PDT, seller added the following information: Additional info: These are some things that I forgot to mention or am repeating from the original listing , ( I am an honest person and do not want an unsatisified buyer) 1.The inside trunk latch doesn't work, the trunk opens with a key and I believe that both issues can be inexpensively fixed. 2. The power antenna doesn't function properly. 3. There is a small chip (from a freeway rock or stone (or whatever), it is the size of a pencil eraser and is not in your line of sight while driving.It is near the top center . 4.As mentioned in my original description there are a few interior trim pieces off or missing, they would not be noticeable unless pointed out. 5. The radiator has a very slow leak , needs to be checked every 5000 miles or so. 6.There is a part # written on the tail light lens , and I don't know what to use to get it off. 7.Also as mentioned above , there has been minor body work done on this car , and while it is not really noticeable , the paint (white) is every so slightly a different shade. With all of that info said , this car is still a head turner. I get comments about it almost everywhere that I have driven it. Now a few good things that I didn't mention. 1.It comes with a cover, custom made for that car. 2.The convertible boot is like new , or new , blue leather. 3.The leather bag that is a storage bag for the targa top piece , is new and in it's original pakaging. After an extensive and exauhsting search , I could not locate the original window sticker/price tag . I have 2 storage units and my home. I spent over 8 hours looking for it.Sorry but , IT WILL NOT COME WITH THE WINDOW STICKER , as mentioned above. Also I want bidders to know, that as mentioned above the first 4 pics are of the car when I bought it in Nov. of 09, the remainder of the pics were taken a few days ago. Regards, Ken
