1972 Vw Super Beetle NOT Running, quick story was my first car have owned since 2000 all work was done by me. Been Parked since 2006 due to engine oil pressure drop on interstate locked engine solid and warped block (extra good block included) at the time everything worked wonderful the transmission has less than 1000 Miles on it perfect shape 4 Speed bugpack short throw. just dust off cobb webbs.ENGINE:All the engine parts are reusable just need gaskets and bearings maybe crank resurface. Dual port 1600cc .The motor had just been Refreshed and detailed before it dropped pressure all parts EXTRA Clean.All Chrome engine sheet metal and Doghouse fan shroud.34-pict3 great shape.EXTERIOR:Paint is in good shape faded from sitting has basically no rust (paint chips).Bumpers have surface rust due to cheap chrome but brackets are good as new stainless hardware.Aluminum Running Boards.Floor pans and Heater channels are great!The only rust is light on door hinges and rear apron from me getting to close to storm drain.INTERIOR:Pop Out windows installed all rubber and chrome is great.This car has 3 point retractable seat belts (Just like new cars) Safety First!Interior in wonderful shape. Short throw bugpack aluminum shifter, perfect seat covers great carpet, Headliner is great too. The dash is the only thing I didnt replace but its fine.Floor pans are great and very solid.Front Suspension:All prothane bushings with adjustable McPherson struts car handled like it was on a rail very tight.Top strut brace installedTires hold air fronts have almost new tread, the rear due to sitting may need replaced.Stock Drum Brakes due to sitting must be gone over.Electrical:Everything except the fuel gauge worked when it was last running.To get this car back on the road you will need to put the engine together and run through the brakes.Ask any questions before you bid.Shipping cost/arrangements buyers responsibility. If picking up bring trailer. If using dolly bring air compressor for back tires.Clean Title in hand.No warranty whatsoever. Full cost minus deposit must be paid in CASH at time of pickup.
