I'm offering for your bidding pleasure, this 1982 Mercedes Roadster 380 SL. Let me begin by saying that I purchased this vehicle on impulse 1 month ago and when it arrived by transport, it was put into my garage and hasn't left my property since then. I realize that I need a 4 passenger vehicle. I'm a senior citizen and I don't need this kind of horsepower for the type of driving I do. The car has a clean & clear Florida Title and I haven't registered it in my name at this time. I'm starting this auction with a low opening bid and no reserve. You can put my knowledge of Mercedes vehicles on the head of a pin,so go easy on me. I'll do my best to answer your questions via email. I can say without hesitation that she looks very impressive with the metallic paint that I was told is new. The gentleman I purchased the car from said that many upgrades were done to the vehicle ie: new soft top, new Pirelli tires, New upholstery, new disc brakes all around etc... but I cannot verify those facts. I start her up every day and she sounds very strong with no leaks or smoke. There are no dents, dings or rust that I can see. If I was younger, this vehicle would stay with me, but not now.
