Fabulous Project Car!1964 Oldsmobile F-85 /Cutlass Convertible You can tell from the photos that the vast majority of the restoration work has already been completed on this car and it is ready to finish to make a magnificent classic car! This is a 1964 Oldsmobile F-85 convertible that has had over $11,000.00 invested into the restoration process. The previous owner has completed all the body work along with complete detail of the chassis (every nut and bolt on the frame). As far as I can tell the car is complete with all body parts and most interior pieces necessary to complete the project (see the last photo of all the extra parts). As you can see from the photos the engine work has been completed and it is fabulous! The famous R & R Speed Shop completely built the engine with 3 angle stainless valves. It also has an Edelbrock manifold and carburetor. According to the previous owner, it is one HOT motor! It starts easily and runs like a speed shop built motor should run. Payment: A $500.00 deposit is due within 48 hours of the end of the auction. Balance due in full within seven days. Payment by cash only will be accepted if paying when the car is picked up. Mileage: When listing a car for sale we are required to reveal the mileage of the vehicle. Since this car is currently undergoing a restoration we have used 99,999 as a reference but the actual mileage is unknown. Color Of Car: The previous owner identified the original exterior as "butternut yellow" although the car is in primer at the present time. Title Transfer: Since the state of Alabama was a non-title state prior to 1975 this car will be sold with a bill of sale only. Shipping/Delivery: Local pick up only. Delivery might be available to locations near north Alabama for a modest fee. Inspection: Potential buyers and interested parties are very welcome to inspect the car or have a representative inspect the car. We reserve the right to end the auction early as the car is for sale locally or may be purchased in person by appointment. We will not sell parts off this car. No way!
