You are bidding on a 90%+/- Original 1982 380SL Mercedes Benz It is a near factory perfect car in most every detail. With ONLY 30,288 ORIGINAL MILES. YES! 30,288 ORIGINAL MILES!! As recorded by the Department of Motor Vehicles in Tennessee and New Hampshire as well as CAR FACTS. This car is a one of a kind in many ways. I will describe the car in as much detail as I can. Should you have any questions please email or call me. BENZ@new-era-motorcycle-us.com (603) 674-6035 First some history, This car was originally owned by the CEO of a large restaurant chain. It was stored in a heated garage for over 18 years with it only being driven a few times over the years. It was very well maintained by a Mercedes dealer even while in storage, it was started regularly, even the oil was changed regularly. The only things I know that are not factory original are the exhaust system that I replaced at 27,738 miles in June of 2003, the stereo was replaced in July of 2003 with a High End Alpine with 6 speakers and CD player. I do have the factory original stereo as well. The Convertible Top was replaced in 2004. There is a Hardtop as well. Most of the chrome inside and out is near perfect with very little signs of Age, driving or weather. There are no dents or dings anywhere that I can find. There is ABSOLUTLY no rust, or surface rust anywhere, "except the Rims", not even under the hood or on the frame. You can still see the factory inspection marks on the frame in the wheel wells. The Grill is like new The hood has no scratches or dings. Front left fender paint is perfect with a minor chip in one of the hand painted factory pin stripe. The drivers door is extremely clean with a few very minor road marks in the paint. Left rear panel is extremely clean. Trunk lid has a 2" flaw in the paint where the cell phone antenna was mounted back in 1982. It is not a scratch just an ugly mark. Front right fender is extremely clean with very few road marks. The Passenger door is extremely clean with very few very tiny paint marks. Right rear fender is extremely clean with a few very minor marks. All lights are original and working, even the factory fog lamps. Hard top paint is near factory perfect, however the glass window is cracked in the lower corner. Not in the sight area and there is a very small dent in the chrome. The Soft top is Black and was replaced with a factory original top in the summer of 2004. The Dash is black and factory perfect in every detail. No cracks no fade... PERFECT. Every gauge looks and works like new. Carpets are near flawless and beige like the real leather seats. The seats are Perfect including the small rear seats that were a factory option for small children and pets. In the trunk everything is factory clean and perfect. Factory Original extremely rare true spoke wire wheels. Most of the chrome on them is good, but there is some rust on the rims, not the spokes. If there is anything that needs to be fixed on the car, this is it.. Re-chrome the rims. Under the hood is so clean you can eat off the motor. No oil leaks from anything anywhere, park it on a white sheet and sleep on it that night. If it were not for the rust on the rims and the very few very minor paint marks this car would be a show car. None of the paint marks larger then the diameter of the small end of a USB cable. About this big "0" This car turns more heads then any other vehicle I have ever seen or owned. It is an Antique. It is a collectable. It is near Perfect. It is a Collectable, Antique that YOU CAN DRIVE!!!. It is a fun car to drive. It turns heads from every person that sees it, Old, Young, Men and Woman. If you want a super clean head turning car that is lots of fun to drive, very rare and reliable, that draws a lot of attention.... THIS IS THE CAR FOR YOU!! PLEASE!!
