Up for bid is a 1989 Volkswagon Cabriolet with 79000 miles, it does run but needs work, I bought this car for parts to fix another cabriolet but parts i needed were differant since the years were differant so i got rid of other car and now I dont have time or mechanic ability to fix myself and can't find someone to do the minor repairs needed. As you can tell car needs a top and interior is in bad shape to. The car needs a master cylinder front drivers side brake caliper, and from what i,ve been able to tell it needs a warm up regulator and battery, theres a battery on it and it will start the car but it does need replaced.I have driven this car around here when i first got it, the transmission seems to be in good condition don't know the last time filter and fluid was changed,the motor seemed to be in good running condition to.When you start this car it will idle for as long as you want it to but the second you touch gas it wants to die, after about 20 minutes it smooths out and will run without dying when you push gas pedal.Tires and wheels seem to be in good shape and has been sitting under a canopy on gravel for last 2-3 yrs. Wife says it goes or I go.... I have title and am willing to take any resonible offer. I may consider parting out but you will be responsible for either taking part or parts off or pay someone to do it.It also has both new fuel pumps as well. Buyer must understand this car is sold as is and there is nothing else promised with this car. I know this car isnt worth alot but I know I can sell parts so please only resonible offers, I am a realistic person but also know i do have money tied up in this car to just give it away.
