Vehicle Detail

Nice Sport Fury Convertible. Have owned it for 7 years and has been a great driver. Always starts and runs and drives well as it has since the day I bought it when I drove it home 250 miles. General Condition Floor pans and trunk floor is good with no rust. Hood and deck lid look great. Quarters, doors, and fenders look good, no dings, they were all repaired with last paint job. It has some rust repaired in the quarters at the time, but there is not rust showing anywhere. There are a few bubbles in front of the passenger rear wheel that have been there unchanged since I have owned it. The passenger door has a spot where you can tell it was repaired. But overall the car shows well. This is not a show paint job but has very nice shine and gets compliments all the time. Frame and cross members look good. Top is in excellent condition and the rear window looks new. I have had the top up and down at least 25 times and it works perfectly. You can see from the pictures the interior is in good condition. The seats could use new padding underneath and the carpet looks fine but has come rough spots. The door panels are nice compared to what you usually see in these cars, but have a litte rough area at the top rear of the panel on both side. About 3/4" wide and 2' long. They are too nice to worry about replacing them though. The arm rest bases are shot, but are reproduced and are $50/pair. They would make the doors panels look so nice, you would not notice the small imperfections. Dash is in good condition with no cracks or missing parts but would look really nice if someone took the time to repaint the gauge surround. The dash pad is nice to. The steering wheel has a couple cracks and the previous owner had a cover on it that I never took off. The horn ring is in good condition. The rear door panel have speakers in them for the Pioneer SuperTuner AM/FM Cassette that is mounted under the dash. The original AM radio is there in the factory location. Visiors are in good shape. Most of the stainless trim is good to excellent. The grill is very nice with only a couple little dings, you must look hard to see them. The bumpers have both been re-chromed and are excellent. Door handles are both perfect. Tailights are also in excellent shape with the silver trim in great condition. They must have been replaced at some point, just too nice to be the originals. Windows roll up and down with ease and all the cranks are there. The car is very complete. Electrical Head lights, tail lights, brake lights and blinkers work. Left hood mounted turn signal works, right is intermittent. Interior lights work but dash needs several bulbs replaced. All of the gauges work. Looks like there has been plenty of wiring work done under the dash but everything still works. I was going to add electronic ignition but never got around to it. While it always starts the neutral safety switch has a problem and the car will start in any gear and of course park and neutral. Sometimes the key must be turned several times for the starter to engage. Brakes Brakes work well on this big car and the impossible to find 11" by 3" front drums were replaced by me when I got the car. They came from a low mileage Chrysler 300 and should be the last set you will ever need (unless you are going to drive a lot of miles). Brake shoes were replaced at the same time. Drivetrain 383 Commando V8. The car is a factory 2 barrell car but has a Mopar OEM 4 barrell intake and carb. The 3 speed transmission has been rebuilt and it works excellent and shifts firm and quick. The rear end make no noise and this car drives well down the road and on the highway where I have driven it plenty. The engine idles very smooth and doesn't seen to care if it is 95 or 35. It runs the same. All sales are final, buyer is responsible for pickup and transportation of the car. $500.00 non refundable deposit through paypal is required within 48 hours of auction close and remaining balance, in cash or check, is due in full upon pickup within 7 days of auction close. This car is also for sale locally, so I may end this auction at any point. Any questions please contact me through ebay email. If you are serious and want to talk more details about the car, I will forward my phone number to you. Couple clarifications: The mileage on the car shows 46223, you should assume that the odometer has turned over. I included a picture of the car with white letter BFG's in case someone may prefer that look. You can choose the tires you want, and I will make sure they are on the Magnums with the trims rings as that is the style of wheel that should be on this car.
