For sale is my 2005 Klavierlack Black V8 Phaeton with Anthracite leather, Comfort, Cold Weather and Convenience Packages, Upgraded (12 speaker, 270 watt) audio, Performance 18'" wheels, upgraded sensitive (perforated) leather, four zone AC, front and rear (4 way) heated and cooled seats with massagers, navigation, alarm system. The Phaeton has been the flagship Volkswagen for many years and this car does not disappoint. I purchased this car in 2008 as a previously certified pre-owned, with 23k miles. The CPO warranty expired in July of 2011. For an eight year old vehicle, this car is in excellent condition. All maintenance performed by New Country Volkswagen in Greenwich and Danbury Volkswagen, Phaeton Certified dealerships. Included are three keys and the original owners manual. The vehicle's factory "Performance" 18" wheels are fitted with Kumho Ecsta LE Sport (summer) tires, filled with Nitrogen, and new TPMS sensors. These tires feel amazing on this car -- quiet and confident. The tires are virtually brand new. Note: Spare wheel not included - only the four wheels you see on the car come with this auction. For those in colder climates, I have an extra set of genuine Volkwagen wheels mounted with Blizzak LM-22 snow tires available for additional charge. Brakes replaced recently and have about 80% wear left. Interior (leather, wood trim) in excellent (like new) condition. Paint in very good condition. A few of the highlights of this car: 18 way adjustable drivers seat, 16 way adjustable passenger seat, adjustable lumbar and automatic headrest detection in back seat Amazing sound system - 12 speakers, 270 watts, can be modified with DSP settings, and sounds great at any volume Four zone climate control Four way seat heaters/coolers with massage function Adjustable air-suspention (Sport to Comfort) Adjustable ride height (Normal and High are user selectable; Low engages automatically at high speed) All wheel drive with 6 speed automatic transmission, manual shifting available with tiptronic Safety triangle mounted in boot can be dismounted and used in emergency Car comes with original first aid kit Air vents on dash automatically open depending on ambient weather, sun direction, desired internal temperature, and desired head/footwell temperature differential Four-mode air suspension - can be set from sport to comfort, ride height adjustable from normal to high (automatic lowers to low setting at high speed) Heated wiper nozzles on windscreen, and on each headlight Fog lamps integrated into front bumper (work great in the fog) There are a few imperfections with this car, I am not hiding anything here -- Driver seat massage not working - can feel it try to start but it stops immediately Right, rear passenger sunshade does requires fiddling to get it to close all the way Spare tire missing (optional set of 4 Challenger wheels with new TPMS sensors and LM-22 Blizzak winter tires available at extra charge) Three out of four wheels showing some curb rash and/or signs of having been cleaned with an acid rim cleaner If you are viewing this auction, you probably already know what the Phaeton is. If not, I recommend you research the car. The Phaeton is one of the only cars that can be both a driver's car and a limousine - I am equally as happy in back seat as I am the driver's seat. Unfortunately I am moving to a country where the steering wheel is on the other side, and I can not take this with me. The Phaeton is the best value, luxury car on the market.
