Hello, if you're looking at this ad, I won't bore you with buick gn specs. as I'm sure you're well aware of them. so let's get on to the car itself. -1986 buick grand national with 1987 grill, always liked the 87 grill better. more aggresive looking. -motor never opened up for anything. only valve cover gaskets replaced. otherwise all original -original brf code 200r4 transmission, never rebuilt, never modified, never molested, only maintained every 15 k with a fluid change -car came off assembly line with aluminum bumper supports, aluminum brake drums, open rear and no extra power junk. Kirban's Buicks says these where lightened versions to make up the difference in cafe standards for all the ones they were building loaded to the hilt. Car has no: -cruise control, power seats, power door locks, sentinal headlights, map light, power mirrors. -Car has never had anything aftermarket installed, not even an alarm. only extras that I can see are: -power windows , a/c, rear defrost, highline stereo. -Car has zero rust anywhere! always inside, only out in the sun when driving and showing. -Absolutely nothing faded,hard, cracked. -Original bumper fillers still soft as butter. -Completely all original interior, only headliner was replaced in '08 just would not stay up anymore. -Dash is in perfect condition, car has never even had a set of gauges installed. - Complete wire harness has never been hacked or cut, period. -Molley has signed the RPO sticker twice. (Molley is the original designer of the Grand National concept.) - Jack has never been removed, nor has the spare been used. -Has Kirban's Buick chassis reinforcement kit installed. - All original weather stripping. This car runs better than it looks. Basically runs perfect if I dare say! Trans shifts nice and firm. Idle is steady as a rock, burns no oil between oil changes. -The car sports a eaton posi unit now although I still have the open carrier and hardware. I have every nut, bolt, parts that came off the car. turbo cover and elbow, original down pipe but cat has been hollowed out. I have aftermarket cat pipe also. Also have original air box and filter and---- the original tires that were taken off around 20,000 miles in the early 90's. the paint on the car is in show condition. although it has had paint work over the years the car still has most of it's original paint, the hood and fenders where blended in the late 90's by a Buick dealer due to the hood paint crazing like all Buicks do, but you can't tell where it was blended, looks fantastic!! air shocks in rear so you can level the ride if needed for luggage on roadtrips and a full tank of gas and still look great pulling into the car show. -New firestone fr 380's ride great, the rims still show like new! -New front brakes and rotors just done about 200 miles ago ** this car was bought and sold by Kirban's Buick Grand Nationals some time in early 02 or 03 to the guy that I bought the car off of. They only deal in the highest quality Buicks. You can call them with the vin# and they might remember the car. last Kirban show I went to, he remembered it and told me all about the last owner and how crazy he was about the car. On Mar-20-12 at 19:33:56 PDT, seller added the following information: I have lots more pics of detailed areas like door hinges( no play at all), bottom pinch welds, brake and fuel lines( wich look brand new),trunk, motor mounts( original with no cracking) body mounts( still have paint marks on them), bright blue BRF trans code tag. so email me and I'll send you what you want to look at. other things to mention like thers no dust even in the defrosters because i would keep them covered. vents always closed unless being used deck carpet looks like it was made yesterday intirior never Armeralled, no air fresheners, still smells brand new the windows are always up to keep road dust and bugs out only washed 3 or 4 times a year,( to keep wetness to a minimum) the rest of the time it's california dusted and covered powermaster flushed with dot4 every 2 years antifreez every 2 years So, yea. thats should give you a little hint about how crazy me and the last owner are about this car. if only you could see it in person( wich you are welcome to if youd like) jUST CALL original power antenna still works perfect, stereo is a little raspy. probably needs to be cleaned who ever buys this buick will be stunned when they come get it and see it in person the same way I was 4 years ago when I bought it. I coulden't give the guy the money fast enough hoping he would'nt change his mind at 18k wich is what i paid for it.
