2002 BMW K-Series

Bike is located about 20 miles North of Pittsburgh. Very well taken care of. I am the third owner. Heated seats and grips, cruise control, AM/FM, CD player, Power windshield, antitheft, Fully inspected early last year. New rear tire installed at time of inspection. One correction to the description is reqarding the time of inspection and rear tire. My wife informed me I was mistaken The bike was inspected and serviced in 2010 not 2011 prior to a 2000 mile road trip. The rear tire was replaced during the trip. It has about 900 miles on it. I owned about six bikes last year and did not realize how little I road it in 2011. To the best of my knowledge the bike has been very well taken care of and servicd properly. No accidents during my ownership or that I am aware of. The other features are antilock brakes and built in highway pegs that fold out if needed. I do not believe the next owner will be disappointed. I will take photos of later today, Wednesday, and do what I can to provide a link or add more photos to this listing. Also the question I had is the bike a Standard,Custom or Elite Model. That is a great question and I feel stupid that I do not have a answer. I purchased the bike used and was unaware until now there is a difference. I want to say Custom or Elite (only because of the chrome accent trim here and there) but really that is a guess. How can I tell by looking at the bike. No Kidding I really want to know the answer myself. Thanks Jim On Mar-21-12 at 14:02:40 PDT, seller added the following information: Please note the added photos. 2 are close ups of the right rear saddle bag chrome trim mark, 2 of the rear tire. 1 of the front tire. The rest are of the right front mirror and repair. The mirror assembly is made to clip/snap into place at 3 points. 1 of those points were part of the housing which broke away. You can see in the photo I installed a silver threated machine screw and nut. This with the other 2 snap points hold the assembly securely to the bike. The teal body piece is set back in place and secured with 2 black nylon tie wraps. I have driven the bike 2000 plus miles with the mirror repair as you see it. Not all BMW LT have the chrome mirrors,trim and I believe the chrome luggage rack. i believe now this to be the Custom Model Thanks Jim
