This is a 1968 mustang fastback that came from the factory with a 289 v-8 and C4 auto trans, the engine is now a 302 with the auto trans. The body has had new qtrs and floors welded in and was put in primer some years ago. The original colors are lime gold paint and ivy gold interior as indicated by the Marti report. The interior is now black with several deluxe features and has 67 style seats in it at this time, the original 68 seats are included with the car but were not installed due to their condition. The car runs and drives well and is driven occasionally with no major issues. The body needs to be painted and will need some minor body work to do so. The thing I noticed about the body is that the doors were built up near the edge in order to meet the quarter panel, I feel this could be fixed by removing the filler in the door and adjusting the quarter panel properly where it is attached to the door post, that is what I would do but it could be left as is. The gaps are decent and panels fit average to good for one of these cars as I know them. The engine compartment is pretty decent looking and has some nice dress up pieces on it, this is not very far away from being a nice little fastback as most of the things done had new or rebuilt parts. Overall the car is not a rot box and is a good vehicle for someone who can finish it .
