For sale is an original unrestored 1957 Chevy 210 four-door sedan. This car has the original 283 2bbl. engine with the oil-bath air cleaner and Powerglide(Turboglide) transmission. The engine was rebuilt about twelve years ago not too long before I purchased it. The previous owner said he let it sit for too long and it set up from not being started regularly. However, it still has very low miles on it because it has been driven about 3000 miles and runs great and was just tuned up last summer. The transmission was completely rebuilt last summer and has no miles on it. The car has 41,141 original miles on it. The original SurfGreen/Highland Green is still on the car and all the stainless is in nice shape. This '57 is in really good condition and would make a great restoration, or it can be driven. The changes that I made to get it going when it was purchased are as follows: New rear leaf springs, set of KYB shocks, rear shock crossmember, Petronix electronic ignition conversion in original distributor, new voltage regulator, set of Keystone Klassic wheels and new tires. The front tires were just put on last summer. The car also has a very nice sounding full dual exhaust system. The '57 has had a couple of small spots that were repaired in the past on the bottom of front fenders and driver side rear door opening that are visible in the pictures. This car is a true survivor and still remains a driver, but really it is so solid and complete it would be a great car to put some more time into and bring it back to it's original glory. The original interior is in the car and in pretty decent shape, but the headliner is discolored. I have two other Chevys that we are trying to get together and I just don't have the time to do them all, so that is why this '57 Chevy is for sale.
