Selling this car for a friend of mine. he is a private collector and this was his first Porsche! he is selling to make room for another corvette. I inspected the car and drove it and noticed that the car drives and handles very nicely, love all the torque from the varioram engine and it shifts very smoothly into all gears, consistant with a low milage car. A/C blows cold, all electrical equipment work as they should with the exception of the driver's back seat. Exterior looks real nice as the car lives in a warehouse hooked to a battery tender. interior is very decent with the exception of a little scuff next to the driver seat power buttons. canvas top is in like new shape, but again has a small little cuts where it folds because the top stays down all the time (motor work but might need cables) so the top needs repair. very minor road rash on the nose, otherwise paint is shiny and very decent. Car is all stock, no modifications at all, still retain the engine undertray. regarding the carfax report, can't really tell the extend of the accident, I always think the worst and go from there. what i know for sure is, it happened in 97,the car was still practically new, I don't think it was a scratch because the whole quarter panel was painted as it shows around the vin tag. was the tub bent? I think they will total it in that case. I checked the undercarriage and couldn't find any repair work. price take the accident into consideration and it's one of the lowest priced 993 on ebay. if it was a coupe, it will be sleeping in my garage.
