1977 MG MGB ROADSTER Up for auction is a 1977 MG MGB Roadster, clean title, rust free California car. Due to a leg injury that prevented operating the clutch, the car has been stored for a year and a half in a dry place. The car has been pulled out of storage, and is ready for some light cosmetic and mechanical work to get it back on the road. This one comes in original color, with one repaint. The car's paint is still good, but will need some wax or buffing. The interior is in original black. Included with the car will be a hard top, in excellent condition, a convertible top boot cover, a cabin sport cover., and a spare tire. I have removed old carpeting to show the rust free floors. The trunk is also dry without any serious "cancer" spots. Because the car always stayed in California with the last 3 owners, there are no evidence of common MG rust spots anywhere. The engine is in good mechanical condition, and started right up after changing fluids, spark plugs, air filter, and oil filter. The car runs great, but will need a new fuel pump since the engine stalls after working briefly. The interior will need some attention with new seat covers, seat foam, and carpet. The convertible top frame is perfect, but the vinyl top will need to be replaced due to rips in the rear plastic glass area. The breaks are fairly new, and so are the tires.
