1997 DODGE HANDICAP WHEELCHAIR VAN RICON CLEAR-A-WAY LIFT HANDICAP POWER SIDE DOORS HANDICAP DRIVER TRANSFER SEAT POWER LOCKS POWER WINDOWS POWER MIRRORS CRUISE TILT FRONT AND REAR AC/HEAT This handicap van has all the handicap accessable equipment needed for any person to drive it. The side doors are power and open automatically by pushing a switch at the rear of the van. Once the doors are open the lift will come down to ground level also by pushing the swith at the rear of the van. Once on the lift there is a switch on the lift arm to raise the lift even with the floor. Once inside the van there is a control to stow the lift and close the doors. These options that I have just described allows a peron in a wheelchair to get into the van without any assistance from anyone. There is also a handicap acessable drive transfer seat that moves all the way back, rotates and lifts up to be level with the wheelchair. This allows for easy transfer from the wheelchair to the driver's seat. The previous owner told me the lift is only a year old and cost them $6,000.00. When the wheelchair lift is in the stowed postion it automatically opens up to allow easy access the van. All the handicap equipment works perfect with no issuses. The motor is strong and the transmission shifts smoothly as it should. The motor is a 3.9L V6 which will give you better fuel mileage. The van runs and drive great down the road. The brakes are in good working order. All the power options work as they should. The interior is in great shape showing hardly any signs of wear. The driver and passenger seats are in perfect shape. Please look at the pictures to see how nice the interior is. All the windows have pull down shades that are in perfect shape. The exterior is also in great shape for the year. There is NO rust on this van. There are a few scuff marks on the running boards and fender flares as to be expected. The running boards are strong and stiff with no give in them. You can stand on them and they do not move. The tires are in ok shape they will probably make till the fall depending on how much you drive it. They will need new tires before winter at least I would but thats up to you. The body on the van is in great shape for the year please look at the pictures. The van comes with the original owner manuals and a key fob. In the owner manual they have logged the service work for part of its life, I have included a picture of this.
