This is a 1998 Mercury Mountaineer. It has high mileage but is in good condition. I drove this car to work and on trips daily. I recently got a new company car so, I am selling this car. The car was in a hail storm, so it has some light hail dings over the body. I turned it in for insurance, they called it a total loss (hence they gave me a salvage title on it). I had it re-inspected at a State Highway Patrol inspection station (I did not fix any hail damage). The new title is a "Rebuilt Salvage". NOTE: Ebay policy states I have to list as "SALVAGE", but the title is actually a "Rebuilt Salvage" as I have had it re-inspected. I do have the title in hand for transfer. (That is why I have had to re-list this vehicle a couple of times--they rejected the way I was listing the title) The car has some body rust on: -Rear bumper-Rear passenger inside the doors just above the step ledge This car has 200,000+ miles on it, it has normal wear that you would expect, but it runs very well. Other imperfections to point out: -The radio and CD player works, but the display intermittently goes in and out-crack in windshield-center console lid has cracked vinyl on the cover-some scuffs and dings over the car, but nothing serious Tires are very new (less than 10,000 miles on them) 4WD works well.
