Vehicle Detail
69-Fairlane 2-Door Hardtop. Has 429 or 460 engine Alum. Intake, Holly Carb. C-6 Automatic Transmission. It starts right up, sounds like a real powerhouse. I don't know the condition of the engine. I did not hear any knocks or rattles. It had'nt been cranked for a couple of years and been sitting even longer. Previous owner had stopped driving becuseof front end wearing tires. I believe he started replacing some parts and bought other front end stuff that is pictured in trunk. I would not recomend driving until work is completed. It's all together, but front end needs aligning at the least. I drove it around a short block, Had lots of power but front end and brakes were not trustworthy enough to romp on it. I would strongly advise Buyer Not To Drive It until front end and brakes are checked. I would not want anyone out there with big kahoonas and no brain to hurt themselves or someone else. This is indeed a PROJECT CAR and not road ready, so bring your trailer. I do have a clear mississippi Title. The car has a fiberglass hood and a custom radiator for cooling that still looks to be in great shape, But like I said I don't know the the condition of the engine. It cranks up easy and has always been winterized with antifreeze. But it might need new gasket seals. I don't know. It's just an old car needing work on it. as for the body the car has been painted only twice. Paint is at least 15 years old and has some chipping and bubbling. Frame is good, trunk is not rusty, Floor pans were amature repaired. As for anyone that don't know this is not a factory Big Block Car. I was told engine came out of a 69 Thunderbird, but I don't know for sure.. Buy As Is.... If you are Nit-Picky, This is probably not the car for you. I just don't want any misunderstandings, Life's to short for that. Please call me if you have any questions 601-473-9278..... I am not around to answer e-mails..... Must be paid for by cash or certified bank check that has cleared the bank before the the car is moved. It is stored inside and you can have up to 60 days if needed for pick up, But must be paid in Full within 7-days end of auction. Would perfer $200 Pay-Pal deposit within 48 hours. If you win please call me and let me know your plans for payment and pick up. Don't leave me hanging Thanks.601-473-9278
