I have for sale a 1994 Land Rover Discovery. 3.9L V8 with 122,000 original miles. Lifted but not sure how many inches. New 35 inch tires. 5 speed. Aftermarket front bumber. Snorkel. Alot of new parts. The seats and interior are in good shape but does need carpet/liner. No radio. Exterior also in good shape for the year but does have some dents, scratches and dings. Passenger side fender is sticking out a little at the bottom(loose). The body is in pretty good shape, does have some rust but nothing that is an eye sore. Their is one spot of rust under the passenger floor mat that is rotted. 2 drilled holes in hood where it looks like their was a hood ornament? I filled them in with silicone. I bought it as a mudding rig but never put it on the road. I need the money for other things so I am selling. Does not run but used to. I replaced the starter(new) and now I think it needs a relay to be running again. Makes one click when you turn the ignition switch. Has power when key is turned on. New battery. Leaks 1 quart of oil every 1500 miles (previous owner told me it needed a $15 oil sensor screw). The only other thing is the heater blows heat sometimes. That is about it mechanically. I hate to get rid of it but I have to many other things going on. Will have to be towed. No reserve. No warranties and sold as is. Thanks for looking. ALSO WANT TO POINT OUT IT HAS A CLEAN MAINE TITLE BUT THEIRS SOMEONES NAME PRINTED ON THE BACK. IN SOME STATES YOU DON'T NEED A TITLE CAUSE OF IT'S AGE BUT HERE IN NY IT MIGHT BE A PROBLEM, JUST WANTED TO BE CLEAR. On Mar-05-12 at 17:21:51 PST, seller added the following information:DMV tells me to get a new title, would have to contact owner of title and ask them to apply for a new title. Did internet search and it returns only one name. For states like Vermont,Maine,etc. you would not need the title to register because it is over 15 years old. I was misled about the title when I bought the Land Rover. If you are willing to go that route to get the new title I will deduct $100 from final bid to cover the costs.
