Very rare collector car a 1985.5 Pininfarina Spider Azzurra in excellent condition with extensive records and 84,597 miles. One of approx. 186 originally sold in the United States with fewer than 100 estimated to still be in existence. Engine 1,995cc, water cooled, dual overhead-cam, inline four-cylinder, cast iron block, aluminum cylinder head, Bosch L-Jetronic fuel injection, five-speed manual synchronized transmission in all forward gears. The 1985.5 was unique from previous versions in that this car has rack & pinion steering, larger ventilated front disc brakes, alloy wheels, 120 MPH speedometer, map light on cord in glove box and a storage compartment under rear parcel shelf instead of a rear seat. The Pininfarina followed the Fiat line.Some have asked why I'm willing to sell the car. I have a daughter getting married this summer and a 16 year daughter just about ready for her driver's license so it's time for me sell the car.The car is a wonderful driver and a unique investment opportunity in what truly is a limited edition of the best that Fiat/Pininfarina produced up to that point in time.
