Up for auction is a 1978 Chevy C30 dump truck, Selling "as is" no warrenty, no refunds so please read before bidding. This will be a great truck with a little TLC. You can find parts for this truck very cheap in a junk yard... I bought this truck two years ago for my sealcoating business. This truck worked great for me and made me lots of $$$, Last year a bought a newer dump. I have no need for two dump trucks that's why I'm selling it, I kept it for a back up but I dont have the space for it as I'm moving into a smaller shop.First and foremost this truck is old and it does need work!! I used this truck for a week last year on a jobsite, at that time everything was in working order. I dont recomend driving this truck away when you buy it, due to the brakes have a leak and does not stop like it should. The list below is just a heads up for what I know is going to need replacement in the near future, like I said it all works but will need service to the following soon...It will need the following:Brakes gone throughNew Clutch (soon)Tires (soon)BatteryThe dump body works fine, the floor in the dump body has dents but no holes that I can see of, It's a 4 speed manual trans, will need clutch soon. Front tires should be replaced soon, rear tires are not too bad except right outer rear dually is going bald. There are leather bucket seats and a console. Also has tarp for hauling debris and asphalt. Other then that it is a good all around truck, this will be a great truck with a little TLC and a few bucks. Great for someone who is just starting out in the landscaping, asphalt, construction business. Thank youOn Mar-07-12 at 05:52:04 PST, seller added the following information: UPDATE:Brakes are working on the truck , went out there lastnight to start the truck and make sure everything worked. I filled it with brake fluid and drove it around the yard, it seems to stop fine and no leaks!! Will still need a batterey , it does not hold a charge if you shut it off and let it sit for more then 30 min.
