Vehicle Detail

289 V8 4 Speed Manual Wimbleton White With Light or Medium Blue Interior Hard to find car with the hard to find 4 speed manual transmission. GREAT DRIVER of a car that needs a partial restoration. The best driving Mustang is the 1967 in my humble opinion, runs and drives like a real muscle car should. I've owned a 1965,1966 and 1968 and 1969 Mustangs and I like the 1967 model year the best. This is a great opportunity to own one great driving car. I love this car,and it's a great car,it has a lot of power and drives like no other Mustang I've had before. It has a really nice feel for the road that makes this a special car. I know it's worth the price based on the year and work that needs to be done to make it nicer. The car is very original, except for a few things done to the engine that make it not 100 % original. The car was made to drive and have fun, with a stronger engine...no air conditioner to take horsepower away. It has power steering. Dual Exhaust 4 BBL Autolite Carb - Runs perfectly Floor Console with light Dash is not cut In Dash AM/FM Cassette Stereo Kick Panel Speakers on floor Strong Running Engine! Runs & drives smoothly (tuned just right) Great road feel-in other words rides smooth, and hugs the road in a particular way that it feels great! Full Set of Styled steel wheels (spare tire with styled steel wheel rim) Has a newer Edelbrock intake manifold. Rebuilt Transmission Works great-shifts nice. Back seat folds well Sun X Original tinted window glass All the windows work-go up and down well Some tears in seat covers in the seam areas. Not terrible, but easy to order out new seat covers-they are already pre-cut and fit right in. Vintage Hurst Shifter. Air shocks in trunk/rear are in great working order. Rides nice. Car has had new higher quality leaf springs -does not sag in back. Sits really nice. Full sized spare tire in trunk with styled steel wheel rim Throaty dual exhaust -they can hear you coming and going. A real head turner. Mileage is 40,279 of which I am not the original owner. I never changed the dash in any way. So that's the mileage as is. Definitely worth restoring and keeping this car as an excellent investment and an enjoyable investment to drive and work on at the same time. You don't have to restore the whole car at once, you can do it in sections. You can also get a lot of the parts online and in catalogs making these cars easy to restore and work on,they're simple to work on. And these cars are pretty inexpensive to restore, the parts are not all expensive and readily available making this car a fun project, and a worthwhile project to do. I got into buying these cars for that reason, plus they're really fun to drive. This would make an excellent father/son or father/daughter working project or something like that.Teach your kid how to do something other than play on the computer or PlayStation. I tried to give you all of the photos,in large size,so there's nothing to hide here. I'm giving you an accurate report of how the car is, and what needs to be done,so you can decide better as a buyer. A lot of people don't have complete photos of the trunks and bottom sides, and better to know what kind of project you have, rather than find out later the car needs a whole lot of work you cannot afford to do. NO BONDO (I checked when I bought it underneath visually and the side lower panels with a magnet) Problems: Needs work with driver's side trunk drop off (body work) Export brace is rusty where it connects (could be surface rust too) Monte Carlo bar is rusty but simple and easy to replace. Inner fender aprons are a little weak (front) Could use a paint job,but that is just my opinion. Rubber gaskets on trunk and front window should be replaced soon as I noticed a drip leak when it was outside. Seat covers are easy to replace and are cut to fit as well as carpet. The seat covers have the typical small tears near the seams when they're sown. Otherwise they're okay for driving and if you plan on fixing and showing the car,I'd replace them. EXTRAS: spare tire/rim in trunk 2-3 spare belts for engine in trunk I might have more extras, but that's all for now. Write and ask us questions,we do check emails pretty often. Serious buyers only.Cash only, cashier's check only drawn on a USA bank. No trades. No partial trades either. I'm only selling this car to USA bidders, because problems in the past with International buyers. It's up to you to move it,get it trailer or have it shipped or whatever you want to do. I will assist you with getting it safely loaded into a trailer, up the ramps and assist with information with local carriers. (like a local U-Haul trailer for a do it yourself job) You have to find a truck hauler on your own and make the arrangements yourself. Make sure the truck hauler knows where to go,and my phone number and exactly tell me when they are coming. I can assist the truck hauler by making the car easy to load onto the ramps by driving the the nearest large parking lot as well. The car is being sold as is. It has a Clear Wisconsin Title and it's ready to go to a new owner that can enjoy it,repair it,drive it and have fun with it. Please check photos carefully, and ask me questions through ebay. Thanks for looking !
