The 1971 to 1973 Mustang models were designed under the supervision of Ford's new product design manager, "Bunkie" Knudsen, originally of General Motors. There were only 6,401 Mustang convertibles built in 1972. It was the last Mustang available as a convertible until 1983.
Our 1972 convertible is equipped with a power top and a glass rear window. The car has a functional Ram Air hood, color keyed mirrors and a chrome front bumper. The car was custom painted in an eye catching teal green color with a white interior. There is a Grant 3 spoke steering wheel. The UniRoyal Tiger paw tires are installed on custom wheels.
The center console has an opening where the air vent register is missing and a Pioneer radio/CD was installed but is not functioning. The rear speaker on the driver’s side is missing.
A new starter was recently installed and the car is running. It has been in our collection since 2007 and only driven when repositioned on our lot. We advise a complete mechanical inspection before driving.

Our cars are not driven regularly but are repositioned on
our lot as needed. They are stored battery out, with fuel stabilizer. Our cars
start, run and drive, unless noted otherwise. This does not mean they are ready for long trips. We recommend a full mechanical inspection before taking them on the road.
We do our best to describe our vehicles accurately and
include numerous photographs but small defects don't always show in pictures. Any known or visible defects at the time of listing will be stated in the vehicle description. Classic and vintage vehicles
