1969 Triumph Bonneville

I had to re-list this bike due to a virus with my wife's email account. Sorry if you saw (and bid) before.This is a rare 1969 Bonnie Bobber. Truly one of a kind bike, there are no others like it. Everywhere I go, people stop, look, take pics, and talk about it. This bike is loud. Triumph Bonnie hardtail bobber, the frame has stock rake, no stretch. The hardtail section was lengthened 1 1/2 inches on the bottom rail to lower the bike a little more and bring the top rails into alignment with the top tube. - The forks are early Triumph shortened 4". - Tires are Bridgestone Spitfire, in excellent condition, 16" Harley rim laced to Triumph hub in rear, 19" Trump rim out front. Motor is a strong 650 twin with excellent compression, completely rebuilt Amal 930 Carburetors, Harley coil, Boyer electronic ignition. The open straight pipes are LOUD, mounted solid with extra support brackets. Oil tank is hand-made, as is fender stay - Seat pan (stainless hand-hammered). It's surprisingly comfortable for a non-upholstered seat. New Triumph peg grips, shift & brake grips, throttle cables, all new wiring. Vintage Bates headlight & mount. Fresh black paint. New ignition switch. Starts first or second kick every time. Started it this morning and it runs great--one of the floats sticks so fuel leaks for a second or so--easy fix Drips a bit of oil like any self-respecting Brit bike. Mileage is incorrect in the field, but I had to enter a numerical value. There is no gauge. Located in Independence, MO Clean title/registration/bill of sale.
