Vehicle Detail
I'm the third owner of this awesome PC800. Very good condition and has made a very good commuter bike for me for the past year and a half. All plastic is in very good condition with no cracks or missing tabs - slight scratches on the right rear trunk from where my leg dragged over it a bit getting on and off. The bike has never been laid down and has been kept in excellent mechanical condition. Carbs were gone through last year and other than replacing some cosmetic wear and tear items (run/stop switch was faded and replaced) this bike needed nothing to get me through an entire winter of commuting. I have added a Powerlet socket to allow you to plug in heated jacket and gloves or to use for trickle charging. A new Clearview +5 windshield was put on last year. Bike comes with original factory toolkit, owner's manual, and a shop manual. New spark plugs, new Dunlop tires (still plenty of wear left) and rear brake shoes were put on last year, as well as rear gear oil. Forks are in good shape with no leaks. I don't believe the cam plugs were changed, but there are no oil leaks. This was my daily commuter for over a year - not a trailer queen and not garage kept, but whoever gets it will be very happy with it. It runs like a champ and gives you a lot of storage space in the trunk. The previous owner had multiple bikes and only rode this one a couple of thousand miles over almost 8 years of his ownership. I've put on nearly two thousand miles in the past year and a half that I've owned it. I require a $500 deposit within 72 hours of the auction close and full payment before releasing the bike to you or your shipping agent. Sorry, I don't sell outside of the U.S. You are responsible for arranging shipping. I will be happy to work with your shipper to get the bike to you promptly but encourage you to come and get the bike if at all possible. I'm within easy driving distance of Dulles airport and would be happy to pick you up if you want to fly in and ride the bike home. If the buyer is within 300 miles or so of Washington DC I would consider working with you on delivering the bike to you for a small fee to cover my gas and time. No reserve and a low starting bid - someone is going to get a great deal on a great bike!
