1989 Jeep Grand Wagoneer NO RESERVE, LOST MY STORAGE Over 8,000 in receipts, including wheels and tires (700), engine rebuild (1,500), suspension lift, brakes, ball joints, (1,000), Fuel injection system (gm tbi system, with ebl ecm so you can program on the fly.) (1,000) VDO gauges (450) I have a wagoneer I have to part with. I have lost my storage, and someone is going to get a heck of a deal. I have over 9K invested in this Jeep, NO RESERVE. Although it still has a few issues, and is not running, will need to be towed… With a little elbow grease this could be one of the $10,000 + jeeps you see here. And Modern, Fuel injection already installed. Cadillac alternator for more steady volts. S-10 steering box for tighter steering. No AC (factory stuff still there), But York compressor installed (was going to use for on board air) THE BAD: IT IS CURRENTLY NOT RUNNING Needs a battery The transfer case chain snapped Possible wire issue to throttle body, or fuel pump problem THE GOOD: Engine, AMC 360 bored .040 over, rv cam, GM fuel injection (parts are readily available for a 88 chevy truck with a 350TBI), heads ported, engine has under 5K miles on it. Have receipts for machine work including shot peening block, line hone, cleaned and painted. 3 angle valve job. Painted lifter valley with eastwood interior engine enamal. (see pic) Light port on the heads, all oil galley passeges cleaned, and debured. Custom gauge panel. VDO gauges, (Speedo, Tach, oil pressure, water temp, vacuum, oil temp, trans temp, battery, and fuel) Custom center console needs some fixing up, but the skeleton is good. 40 Gallon fuel tank (from ford bronco), using GM fuel pump with new sending unit. (very trick.) Tank is high enough it is even with the tow bar (see pic) Floor in rear raised up to accommodate fuel tank relocation, (could have been done nicer, but is functional) No rust on the frame Very little on the body (a couple of spots.) Been a Colorado jeep its whole life … Firestone Destination MT tires 33X12.5x15, with chrome wheels (extra wheel included but no tire)6” spring suspension lift, with new shocks, ball joints, u joints, Brakes, bearings etc. and a steering box from a late model chevy (makes it steer much tighter) Tires and suspension have just under 20K on them Will drive down the highway smooth as silk at 80 mph. That’s right NO shakes shimmy’s or vibrations!!!
