I have a real 1972 Ford Maverick Grabber. It has a 302 V8 that was stroked to 343 by the previous owner. He also had the engine blue printed and balanced. It has MSD ignition, edlebrock intake and carb. I believe it has ceramic headers and Dual exhaust. It also has an Auburn Differential. The carb needs work also. He claimed that the engine made about 450 horse when he finished building it. He also claimed to run 12.34 in it. He couldnt find any paperwork on this so Im sceptical. He said he took the good carb and intake off for a differnet project. The carb on it now needs work. The springs are in wierd places also. I could tell he did the wiring himself also. He took the fan and fuel pump off the belt and made them eletronic. Has good tires. Has orginal grabber hood. There is alittle rust on the lower part of the Door, and rust on the floor pans. They are both cheap and easy fixes. The Car does start and move but dies soon after. I believe its due to the rush job he did putting on a new carb. I was also told its a 9 inch ford rear end. The oringial rearend was an 8.8 I believe. It also doesnt have a 3 spd, it now has a 4 spd top loader tranny in it. This would make a perfect project car. I would love to rebuild this but I have to many other things going on that priority. I havent owned the car long and havent had a chance to dive into it. When I baught it I did check out the vin to make sure it was a true grabber and true v8. It has a clean title, the miles are not accurate though. I know Im forgetting stuff. Feel free to message me.
