Vehicle Detail
1996 Ford Taurus GL Up for bids is my 1996 Ford Taurus GL. This car is in great running shape, and will make a wonderful first car or just an inexpensive but nice car for anyone. As you can see, the car is clean and has been well taken car of. It has 201,000 miles on it, but don't let that scare you, this car runs strong. It shifts smoothly and has not given me any problems. Here are the features: Power Steering Power Brakes Power Windows Power Door locks Cruise Control Heated side mirrors AM/FM radio with cassette Front and rear captain style seats with center armrest in both front and back 3.0L V6 engine Automatic transmission INSPECTED UNTIL 9/12!! What's wrong with it? The front tires will need to be replaced soon (don't worry, tires for this car are not expensive) The fuel filter needs to be replaced (it takes a few cranks to get it to start but it starts EVERY time) It had a fender bender on the front passenger side. Nothing big, no structural damage. I replaced the fender and it looks good again (see pics)! There are a few scrapes on the bumper, etc. No biggie. It has a SMALL oil leak. You might have to add a quart every couple months. That's it! Like I said, this car runs great, looks great, and will treat you right. On Jan-22-12 at 05:26:30 PST, seller added the following information: I just want to add that the check engine light is on. It doesn't affect performance at all so I never messed with it. Thanks goes out to the bidder that asked the question and reminded me of it!
