This is a beautiful car. Selling it for my father he originally bought it from a family friend of his who owned it for another 8+ years. My father is a producer and he used the Corvair in 3 different music videos, so the car has music video history I am getting the videos to go with it. It has recently been painted. Recently put in new dash, new carpet installed 2 years ago, lots of NOS parts from clarks corvair, new tail lights, Newer factory stereo put in years ago, Engine was rebuilt 4 years ago plus another head on recently with new valves. Custom painted engine accessories such as engine cover, heater box, air cleaner box, and throttle body tubing, so that is the color of the car. Just done a full tune up, plugs, wires, coil, condenser, points, cap and rotor. The bottom under it is in great shape, it was restored by the previous owner, the pans look great as well I have pictures, also it has newer shocks and springs on the front end my dad had done probably 2 years ago. Gets around 20 MPG. When he was driving it around he got a lot of compliments, now with the new metallic paint job he gets even more. Only problems are it needs o rings for the push rod tubes they are leaking oil, and it needs a new fuel pump. The car will run on starter fluid but dies after that, the mechanic said it was the fuel pump, and they are pretty cheap if you can put it on your self, he also quoted me 2 hours labor to install new o rings. The top is old and needs to be replaced top on it now is canvas, I bought one it is a vinyl top it just needs to be put on, it is in storage in Nashville I am getting it shipped down here soon if it does not arrive in time I will ship to your address when I go back up there every month. He is also selling this partly for tax season he is going to donate a portion of the profits to Miles Apart Inc at milesapart.org he knows some of the people personally and wants to help their cause.
