I am selling my fully customized 1996 Ford Explorer Sport. Runs Great! I have always kept it very well maintained. I've always made sure to change the oil often (probably too often) and im not a lead foot and floor it everywhere. Engine and transmission both work extremely well. Last month I replaced the transmission so now there is no slipping just a smooth ride. For a more fun ride I added an electronic shift improver which can be switched on and off to give it a more sporty feel. It needs exhaust work done however and is very loud right now. The paintjob was done by myself and it is very smooth and has a great shine to it. Above the passenger side door handle there are some defects from the sanding process prior to painting (small curved looking dents in picture). There is also rust on the kick panels (shown in pictures). The only notable dent is above the left tail light. There is also a very small one on the front of the hood. The aftermarket headlights are halo projector headlights which gives it a very unique look at night and definitely turns heads. The tail lights are also aftermarket and were tinted to keep the black and gray scheme going. It has a full aftermarket sound system which includes a double DIN Sony headunit, rockford fosgate tweeters, pioneer speakers in the front, and polk audio db series in the back. It also comes ready for 3 amps if you would want to beef up the sound system more. The doors, roof, and cargo area floor are all sound deadened to help quiet the ride. The 2 tone interior is also custom. All of the seats are very clean however the cargo area carpet is a little dirty and there is discoloration to the carpet under the drivers seat (shown in pictures) from previous owner. The headliner also has a few scratches on it. It has a sunroof which works very well. It will probably need all new tires soon however (tread shown in pictures). The explorer does have 4x4 however we think that when they were putting in the new transmission they didnt hook something up right so it doesnt work right now. Worked great right before that though.
